The December Full Moon, often called the Cold Moon, arrives as the final illumination of the year β a gentle lantern guiding us through the darkest nights and into the heart of winter. This moon invites deep reflection, encouraging us to look honestly at the cycles that have shaped us over the past twelve months. With the world growing quieter and the nights stretching long, the Cold Moon helps us recognize what has reached its natural end, offering clarity around what no longer supports our emotional or spiritual well-being. Like animals settling into their winter dens, we are called to settle our energy, gather our wisdom, and root into practices that nurture inner warmth and resilience. This moon supports closing the year with intention, releasing old stories with tenderness, and creating spaciousness for renewal. It guides us toward a calmer pace β one that honors rest, simplicity, and the sacred pause before the light returns.
